Yusheng - Kung Fu Panda by Merystic Yusheng - Kung Fu Panda by Merystic
I loved Kung Fu Panda I made a fan character for it. :XD: I chose an animal native to China, a Marco Polo sheep. Named him Yusheng, and I tried to stay with the style of the movie.

Wow, he's amazing! =O
I'm glad there are more sheep characters appearing here - I think they're so cute in the movies. XD
I love the design you gave him. Your artwork is extraordinary!

Like Ayem said, yours probably looks a bit more realistic than the movie, but you did a great job! He's a fine character and I could see both his design and personality fitting easily into the movie :)

I think the character is awesome. :D Small crit- well, not so much a crit, but more of an observation. Kung Fu Panda style (IE Nicolas Marlet's style) uses a lot of basic shapes, and exaggerate the anatomy of the animal a lot. Yours... looks a helluvalot like a Marco Polo sheep. XD
But, that of course doesn't mean this is bad. I love this guys expression! I get a lot from his character just by looking at him.

Thanks for the crit! I was wondering how I could make the style look more like the Kung Fu Panda style, I believe you're right..the key is in the simple shapes. If I ever get the chance to redraw this guy I'll definitely have to incorporate that. :)
