CCO Ganymede by Merystic CCO Ganymede by Merystic
Zane's griffin, Ganymede! Careful or he'll eat you! Rarr!

This is another of the series of main character portraits I'm doing for the website. :P

Ganymede, CCO Shara

The pose is really bold. I like how the griffin's all like "Rawr!" :D
The background is really amazing. It looks so real, that I could reach out and touch it! :)

I always enjoy how beefy you make the beaks on your griffons. :> And I still keep drooling over your coloring style. Perhaps this is the time/signal to draw that mockingbird griff I've been thinkin' of...

I doodled it up last night, and it looks fantastically spastic. Complete with bobcat hind end. That's a LOT of attitude in a single
package! ;) I probably won't post it until I've done some more drawings of the planned layout for the entire pic though.

often times people will color the front legs of a griffin yellow, no matter what, but this one has black legs i like that touch, makes it unique, great pose by the way, you really did a good job of making the image look 3D
